This workgroup provides a mechanism to collect and distribute data from independent foster care review programs to supplement federal assessment capabilities consistent with the Child and Family Services Review (CFSR) and to identify data elements to enrich member state's assessment and improvement efforts on systemic issues.

This workgroup coordinates the recruitment and retention of Coalition member states. In addition, this workgroup maintains information, such as program structure, statutory authority and review method of states with independent foster care review programs.

 

National Initiatives

This workgroup coordinates the Coalition's effort to inform and advise national and state policy makers, like-minded organizations and the general public of the unique contribution of independent foster care review programs in achieving permanency for the nation's children in foster care and positive system reform.

 

Communications and Public Relations

This workgroup disseminates information and findings generated by the Coalition and/or its member states and facilitates monthly Roundtable conference calls.

 

Resource Development

This workgroup acquires financial and other resources to promote and support the Coalition's mission.

 

Education and Training

This workgroup supports and promotes the work of established and new foster care review programs by sharing information and tools to support best and promising practices for independent review.
